Support the creation of an adaptation in sign language for deaf children
Opera in sign language? Yes, it is possible. For the first time at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, two interpreters-translators host from the stage, a version intended for hard of hearing or deaf people. The songs are adapted in French sign language, allowing everyone to sing along with the artists and the entire audience.
Beforehand, workshops are organized to learn the songs, so that they are ready for the day of the performance.
